Privacy policy
For this starter version: your manually entered product research is stored in your browser's localStorage. The app does not upload these records to a server, does not require accounts, and does not include analytics cookies or AI API calls.
External links
Clicking an evidence source or shopping link opens an external website with its own privacy policy. Affiliate/referral links can let a retailer attribute eligible purchases to this website.
Data controls
Use Export to download your product records. Clear this site's browser storage to delete local records. Deleting browser data is irreversible unless you exported a backup.
When you add features
Update this policy before adding analytics, server storage, user accounts, paid services or a cloud AI API. This is starter copy and should be reviewed for your actual published implementation.
Optional paid report requests
If premium checkout is enabled, the email, product name, questions, order ID and payment status provided for a paid report are stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database to process your order and deliver your report. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay; this site does not store complete card details. For deletion, corrections and service requests, contact the operator using the support address displayed on the live site. The operator must configure a real support address and retention policy before taking payments.
Optional Gemini AI: When you choose Analyze, your typed product details, retailer URL text, and any photo you select for image analysis are sent via our Cloudflare Worker to Google Gemini for processing. Photos are resized in your browser before transmission. Do not upload personal or sensitive information. Usage is limited using short-lived hashed network/browser identifiers stored in D1. The operator does not independently fetch the retailer URLs entered in AI fields. Free-tier Gemini data handling may differ from paid-tier terms. Never treat AI analysis as verified merchant information.
